A nationwide heatwave is predicted to bring temperatures up to 30C in some parts of the country next week.

Although Falmouth will not heat up quite as dramatically, forecasts predict dry and sunny weather for the next two weeks.

Tomorrow (Friday June 22) should bring clear skies and a temperature of around 17C before steadily rising over the weekend.

Temperatures will rise steadily into next week in Falmouth and should reach a high of around 22C.

No rain is predicted for the next few weeks, but it is likely to be cloudy with sunny intervals.

Even if Falmouth will not quite reach the scorching highs of other parts of the country, specifically the South East, temperatures will still be considerably higher than the 19C average for July.

The Met Office have warned that higher temperatures will also mean stronger UV radiation, so make sure to pack sunscreen.
