Falmouth Gig Club to host sprint championships
Falmouth Pilot Gig Club will be holding the Greenbank Sprint Championships at Gyllyngvase Beach on Saturday when gig clubs from around the county will be competing in a number of tough races.
The racing starts at 11am with the last race beginning at 3pm.
The club will be providing a barbecue, refreshments, raffle, and tombola during the day.
Excellent views of all the racing can be had from various points along the seafront.
