The three-masted replica Customs lugger Grayhound has loaded a cargo of Atlantic Brewery’s Cornish organic ales here for onward shipment to Douarnenez “Port-Rhu.”
The owners of Grayhound have teamed up with French company Trans Oceanic Wind Transport ( TOWT) for the cargo side of their business. They said: “We are proudly working with TOWT to maintain a regular and creditable cargo route seven months of the year between the South West and Brittany.”
The crew will offload the ale in the French port before loading another cargo of organic and biodynamic wines for distribution within a retail network in Cornwall and Devon.
