Adopted vessel will grace the harbour

FALMOUTH’S adopted vessel the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Mounts Bay will be gracing the harbour during Falmouth Week when she berths on County wharf.

Mounts Bay returned from Exercise Taurus 09 in which she conducted exercises in the Mediterranean with the amphibious task force before it sailed for the Far East.

The four Bay class ships Mounts, Cardigan, Largs and Lyme Bays replaced the “Knights of the Round Table” ships. Such as the Sir Bedivere which is now the Brazilian vessel Almirante Saboia.
