TV actress turned presenter Caroline Quentin has visited Trebah Garden near Mawnan Smith for the second series of her show focusing on Cornwall.

As part of Cornwall with Caroline Quentin, the presenter met Trebah’s head gardener Darren Dickey during filming over the summer.

Caroline has been quoted to say that spending the day at Trebah was one of her favourite things during the filming of the series.

This series will feature people at the heart of the Cornish community, with Caroline also taking to the seas with the crew of the Padstow RNLI, going lobster fishing with Callum from Fresh From The Sea café and learning the art of sheep herding.

She also revisits one of the places she stopped off at during series one, meeting Simon and Jemma at The Hidden Hut, at Portcurnick Beach, to help them serve up one of their famous beach feasts and find out some surprise news.

The second series began on Monday, January 7 at 8pm on ITV1.
