Surf in Falmouth is a rare thing, generated by a strong easterly wind blowing down the Channel, or a massive SW storm wrapping around into the bay.

So for surfers used to travelling to the more famous spots on the Cornish coastline, any day at their local break is a bonus.

Today's surf was generated by strong easterly winds, and with more to come it looks like Falmouth's waterbabies will have a chance for more fun tomorrow.
