A 26 year old Falmouth man has been charged with robbery following an incident at a newsagent in Acacia Road on January 5.
Officers were called to the store at around 8.45pm after staff had been threatened and a large amount of cash had been stolen.
Police made enquiries and arrested the suspect on February 22, before interviewing him and charging him with robbery and possession of a bladed instrument.
He was detained in custody before his appearance at Truro Magistrates Court on Saturday.
