The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is launching a new series of courses in partnership with the Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis.
The first course at the museum will be held this weekend (March 30 and 31) when Roy Gollop, a visiting instructor at the academy, will teach decorative ropework, splicing and how to make a fender, which can be taken away.
The two-day course at the museum costs £200.
Anyone wishing to find out more or wishing to book a place on the course should contact Rebecca Joseph on 01297 445545 or alternatively email office@boatbuildingacademy.com.
