Children from the Penryn area enjoyed a Jungle Jamboree Holiday Club at Penryn Methodist Church hall last week.
Sharon Bawden, one of the leaders, said: “They made many craft items including pig masks, parrots, snakes and edible cereal sheep.
“Songs were sung, games were played, with the parachute being very popular and challenges such as push the peanuts with your nose and get as much coloured water in a bottle were undertaken.”
The children also watched cartoon versions of the parables and ended each session by participating in a prayer.
