Teams from Falmouth fashion brand Seasalt, will be swapping tote bags for bin bags as part of a nationwide beach clean this September.

Company employees are inviting the public to join them at Swanpool beach on Friday, September 19, from 4pm as they take part in the Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean.

Vicki Guthrie, corporate fundraiser at the Marine Conservation Society, said: “We’re delighted that Seasalt have decided to run a beach clean this year, and encourage the local community to join them at Swanpool.

“A beach clean is not only an environmentally important activity, it is also a lot of fun for friends and family to take part in.”

Seasalt’s marketing director, Emma Kerswell, said: “Every day we’re inspired by the Cornish coastline and the wildlife found here, so we’re proud to be helping this fantastic cause, and excited to be organising a specific event in our hometown of Falmouth.”
