Police officers stopped 122 motorists in Penryn on Wednesday as part of a multi-agency operation to tackle a wide range of traffic offences.
Local police, assisted by traffic officers, pulled over motorists at random and identified 25 offences, while representatives of HM Revenue and Customs and the Environment Agency also found offences which they will follow up.
Officers using automatic number plate recognition technology dealt with |problems including: failing to wear seat belts, vehicles with no MOT or insurance, vehicles with too many |passengers, and a number of vehicle defects.
