There have been celebrations across both its campuses after it was announced Falmouth University has climbed 26 places in the Sunday Times Good University Guide.
Anne Carlisle, vice-chancellor and chief executive at Falmouth University, said: “Despite debuting in The Sunday Times league table just last year, we’ve seen a meteoric rise of 26 places – reaching to 51st position in the UK.
“We’ve also recorded similar increases across other influential league tables - we’re the third highest mover in this year's Guardian undergraduate university league table. We believe this is a reflection of the investment we have made in making courses market relevant, with renowned industry lecturers leading programmes, and that our students graduate with the skills needed to be productive straight away – some set up their own businesses and others are moving straight into key creative industry roles.
“The leaps and bounds we are making in respected league tables, such as The Sunday Times announced this week, is testament to this.”
Falmouth University has campuses at Tremough in Penryn and Woodlane in Falmouth.
