Police are trying to trace a man who walked away with £400 from Penwerris Store and Post Office in Falmouth last month, after confusing staff.
It was on Wednesday, September 17, that the man approached the counter and asked staff to change a large quantity of cash into different notes.
He then requested it be changed to different currency before finally changing his mind for a third time and asking for the original notes be returned.
“In the confusion he has walked out with an extra £400,” said Falmouth and Helston crime manager PC Mark Eyres.
Anyone who can help police identify the man is asked to call 101 and quote crime reference CR/107327/14.
