Free cake offer for Mawnan graveyard helpers
Anyone willing to lend a hand clearing and tidying up the graveyard at Mawnan Smith on the morning of Saturday, November 1, will be rewarded with free cake.
The plan is to tidy the overgrown and wild areas of the graveyard, sweep up some leaves, maybe trim a few trees and generally get the place tidy and ready to cope with winter.
A team of volunteers will be at the graveyard from about 9am and are inviting anyone to join them.
