Permission is being sought to build a three bedroom house with car parking in the garden of number 149 Saracen Way in Penryn.
The application is for a new family dwelling on rarely used land in the garden of a semi-detached bungalow.
The design statement includes plans for a boundary fence and vehicular and pedestrian access from Saracen Way.
