Year six pupils at Falmouth Primary Academy have been turning back time and delving into the mysterious and intriguing world of the ancient Egyptians.
Last week, the youngsters spent a day being creative and by the end of it there were clay scarab beetles, paper pyramids, hyroglifics papier mache death masks, Egyptian sweets and even a representation of a mummified Tutankhamun and his sarcophagus.
The title of the children’s topic this term is Walk Like an Egyptian and sees them leaning about all aspects of Egyptian life. They will continue with their research until Christmas.
