Volunteers are being sought to help with next month’s Live Nativity in Falmouth, which will begin with a parade from Events Square to The Moor.

Mary, Joseph and two donkeys will begin the parade from the square and en-route to The Moor they will meet other characters from the Bible’s Christmas story, including an innkeeper, shepherds with their sheep, angels, King Herod and kings on horses.

The parade will terminate on The Moor where there will be a marquee full of animals and the Nativity scene.

The event will take place on Sunday, December 14, and volunteers are needed to ensure its success.

Stewards are also needed to help set up the marquee and parade, marshals are required for the parade itself and help is needed to clear up at the end.

Anyone who has any animals which could be used on the day is being asked to get in touch. All offers of help should be directed to Michelle Legumi by emailing falmouth.live.nativity@gmail.com.
