Knitted and crocheted poppies created at Dolly’s in Falmouth this year have raised over £1,234 for the Royal British Legion.
Dolly Makin, owner of the tea room and wine bar on Church Street, said: “We are totally overwhelmed by the amount donated and can only thank again and again everyone who made the poppies, gave their wool, their time and their buttons, sequins and pins. Thanks so much to every one of you.”
