Young and old came together |on Saturday to help Falmouth’s |parish church raise funds in the run up to Christmas.

A festive fair took place in King Charles the Martyr Church hall in New Street, where there were a range of activities for visitors to enjoy.

A variety of stalls included cakes and plants, with the town’s young guides and scouts also getting involved with their own stands.

One of the most popular attractions was the tombola.

Parish priest Rev Stephen Tudgey said: “A good time was had by all. There was a lovely atmosphere.”

A total of £800 was raised on the day, for general church funds. The event was organised by church member Leticia Rivett-Old.
