High pressure hose reel needed to quench Penryn kitchen fire
Firefighters were called to Kernick Road in Penryn yesterday evening after a report of a fire in a kitchen.
Both appliances from Falmouth were sent just before 7pm and found to be a fire involving the cooker.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a high pressure hosereel jet.
