A sailor suffering with chest pains was evacuated from a boat on Sailors Creek near Flushing last Wednesday.
Falmouth's inshore lifeboat was called just after 5pm to help the ambulance service evacuate the casualty from the boat Bosomojo, which was moored in the creek, as the only land access was across a number of fields.
Upon arrival at the creek, on the Penryn River, the casualty was transferred to the lifeboat along with a paramedic, and both were taken across the river to the Falmouth Marina where there was a waiting ambulance.
The boat's volunteer crew members were: Diane Bush (Helmsman), Claire Angove, Sam Hall.
