A Falmouth man has been fined after admitting carrying a lock knife in a public place and stealing a pair of trainers from Trago Mills.
Paul Kingsley Cook, of Dracaena Avenue, Falmouth, was conditionally discharged for 18 months by magistrates after admitting a charge of carrying a lock knife in a public place.
A similar sentence was imposed for an offence of failing to surrender to bail, which Cook, 21, had also admitted.
He was fined £70 and ordered to pay £13.99 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs after pleading guilty to stealing a pair of trainers from Trago Mills in Falmouth.
