The Greenbank Hotel’s application for a later licence, which is being opposed by many neighbouring residents, will now be heard by councillors next Wednesday, April 29, in Camborne.
Members of Cornwall Council’s licensing sub-committee had been due to determine the application at a meeting in Liskeard last Wednesday, but the decision was taken to defer it until next week.
The hotel is seeking a new licence which would permit live and recorded music, late night refreshments and the sale of alcohol until 1am with the venue closing 30 minutes later. Its existing licence runs until 11pm.
The application will be debated by councillors at the council offices in Dolcoath Road, Camborne, at 10am next Wednesday.
