The issue of people sleeping in vehicles along and around Falmouth's sea front is once again being tackled by the police.
Yellow lines have been laid in several roads in the area, prohibiting overnight parking, but this has not deterred people from taking advantage of areas free of such restrictions.
PC Mat Cummins told Falmouth Town Council: “Falmouth neighbourhood team will be actively patrolling the sea front area and offering words of advice to people and actively encouraging them to move on from their roadside positions.
“The seafront seems to be the preferred location of these vehicles, hence our attention to this area. The number of vehicle concentrated in one area has become such that action will be taken to relieve this situation.”
