A driver escaped without injury after his lorry went into a hedge near the Norway Inn at Perranarworthal in the early hours of this morning.
The Scania articulated truck, which is registered in Essex, collided with the hedge on the A39 at around 4.30am.
A police spokesperson said that the road did not have to be closed, although traffic would have slowed, and recovery work continued until around 7am.
