Flora Day was complete for Helston Museum after it's 80 year old clock was restored to full working order.
Following a Crowdfunder appeal the clock, which features automata performing the town's iconic dance, was repaired and back in place in time for the big day on Friday, when the real-life dancers passed through the museum.
Rosie Kliskey, the museum's marketing intern, thanked local craftsman Sam Lanyon of Concept Shed for completing the work in time for the dance.
She said: "The rest of the money raised by the Crowdfunder is now being used to fix two of the other automata that needed repairing in the museum. They too will be back with us shortly to help bring our charming little museum back to life.
The museum would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to the fund raising and helped make this project a reality.
"The clock has not long been back and is already proving very popular with everyone who has come in. Come and see for yourself the magic of this curiosity."
Helston Museum is open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm and admission is free.
