The villagers of Mylor will herald in the spring this weekend with the annual Mylor May Fair on the village playing field.

After the fair opens on Saturday at 2pm, there will be Maypole dancing by the village's children.

There will also be children's races and an opportunity to join in martial arts, as well as activities including laser tag, swingboats, zorbing, wipe out, and hook a duck.

There will be stalls selling cards, jewellery, plants, cakes, handbags, and art, a tombola and a stall with representatives from the RNLI.

Visitors can also try their hand at gig rowing, as well as enjoying refreshments such as cream teas, ice cream, something from the barbecue or the beer tent, or a refreshing Pimms.

The committee of trustees has said there is "something for everyone to enjoy" at the fair, which runs from 2pm to 5pm.
