Penryn's Army Cadet force will be coming home within a week, having spent the last few months parading in Falmouth as its own assembly hall was being refurbished.
The cadets' commander, Afghan war veteran Jamie Streets, announced the unit's return on Facebook, and will be sending letters to all parents and carers.
Jamie said he is "looking forward in bringing the Penryn cadets home."
