TWO people had to be taken to hospital after sustaining possible neck injuries on board the ?the J Class yacht Ranger at the weekend.
A paramedic on board the vessel, had already assessed and immobilised the two casualties and the yacht was brought
alongside at Port Pendennis Marina on Sunday at 2.30pm.
Three members of the Falmouth Coastguard team went on board the vessel and assessed the situation and best form of extraction.
Two ambulance crews also attended and using "vac mattresses" the casualties were further immobilised.
With the assistance of the vessel's crew, they were carried up to the deck and were then transported over to the waiting ambulance crews.
