Police removed a drunk man from Prince of Wales Pier in Falmouth in the early hours of this morning after he threatened to jump off.
Police, ambulance, coastguard and the inshore lifeboat were all sent to the pier at around 1.30am after the man had made his threat.
The lifeboat stood by at the harbourside, while police officers spoke with the man before taking him away.
