This year's departing years six pupils at Constantine School have been making a song and dance before they leave.

The children have been putting on a show, as a final farewell to staff and to other pupils at the school, with dance-based production Move It, supported by younger children singing for the chorus.

Alison Churchley, the school's music teacher who is in charge of the show, said she chose the piece because it helps to "show off" the talent of several of the year six pupils, who are talented dancers, and added that the dance studio setting of the play "works quite well" in the school's hall, and added, "they are a very talented group."

She said: "It's always sad for us, we hate saying goodbye, so it always gets emotional on the last night."
