A luxury superyacht is due to go on display in Falmouth ahead of an auction at a Penzance auction house next week.
The contents of the superyacht, which is currently undergoing a multi-million pound refit at Tregoniggie Industrial Estate, will be on show ahead of an auction which auctioneers David Lay describe as having "more than a whiff of Hollywood glamour about it," on August 25.
The unusual auction is selling much of the furniture and fittings from the yacht, and the auction house said: "If Burton and Taylor were alive today, this is the sort of vessel they would be swanning around the Med in."
There will be over 200 lots of nautically themed bespoke furniture of the highest quality as well as mirrors, lamps, chandeliers, paintings, prints, canoes, dinghies.
The lots can be viewed on Saturday, August 22, from 9am to 1pm and Monday, August 24, from 9am to 7pm, and the auction starts at approximately 4.15pm on August 25.
