Falmouth's coastguard and lifeboat crews rescued a woman who fell at Stack Point after her cries for help were heard on Saturday evening.
The coastguard cliff rescue team received a call reporting the cries in the Swanpool area at around 6.15pm, and the inshore lifeboat crew were also sent to search the area.
A coastguard spokesperson said: "The person in question had been picked up on a paddle ski and was coming into Gyllyngvase Beach - all units were then directed to the beach.
"The inshore lifeboat crew initially assessed the female who had fallen at Stack Point and sustained possible lower back and an ankle injury, with this information we then worked as a team immobilising the casualty and keeping her warm until the arrival of ambulance paramedics."
The woman was taken from the beach to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro for further treatment.
