A man suffered facial injuries and had £200 stolen from him when he was assaulted and robbed in Helston last week.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the man in his 20s was attacked at around midday on Wednesday, September 16, near to the Spar shop in Meneage Street.
Police said: "The attacker is described as a white male, late 20s, of skinny build and around 5”8-5”9 tall with short dark hair."
Police believe a number of people were in the area at the time and may have witnessed the attack.
