This photograph of the so-called "blood moon" over Falmouth was taken by teenager Zoe Jennings.
The moon turned a coppery red in the early hours of this morning as its closest approach to Earth coincided with a total lunar eclipse.
It was the first time the phenomenon has been observed for 33 years and it is not due to be seen again until 2033.
