The man who died following a crash on the A39 which left two other men in hospital has been named as Garnett Douglas, 20, from Saltley in Birmingham.
Mr Douglas was a passenger in a Vauxhall Astra which was in collision with an Audi A4 just before 4.50am on Wednesday November 4 at Perranarworthal.
He died as a result of injuries sustained, and was pronounced deceased at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
Police reported on Thursday that the driver of the Vauxhall, a 31 year-old man also from the Birmingham area, remained in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, where his condition is described as critical but stable.
They said the driver of the Audi A4, a 52 year-old man from Falmouth, is currently at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, recovering.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses.
