The congregation of St Gluvias Church in Penryn have collected so many Christmas shoeboxes for a charity appeal that they have been stacking them up the windows.
The congregation collected 120 boxes for the Samaritans Purse, a charity which collects boxes packed with toys and sweets to hand out to children in less affluent areas of the world.
Jo Lawrence was one of a group of women at the church on Wednesday helping to pack the boxes into a van to start their journey.
She said: "We have been doing this for years and this time we have got 120 boxes we're sending off.
"The boxes we think are going to Romania, or the Balkans.
"We collect all of the year, little bits as we see them in the shops and we knit a lot of hats and scarves and so on.
"We all collect of we see anything in the sales, or go through the store and see anything that's really good.
"In fact I'm already starting for next year."
