The developers behind a plan to build accommodation for 125 students at Packsaddle in Penryn will be holding a consultation on the designs at Penryn Town Hall on Wednesday (15/6).
Cherry Homes and APG Architecture will be inviting members of the public to discuss the plans which have been submitted for planning at any time between 3pm and 6pm.
At a recent meeting of Penryn Town Council, two members of the public voiced their objections to the proposals, and councillors deferred a decision on whether to support the application until after the consultation has taken place.
The plans have so far attracted 26 objections on Cornwall Council's planning website, including David Beeston who wrote: "Development of the Trewarton site as 125 bed student accommodation would introduce an unsightly building and high density occupation to a quiet and pleasing area."
Objections from J Jones included concerns over parking, anti-social behaviour and devaluing house prices, while Michelle Merrell wrote: "If you really believe they won't bring their cars you are very very stupid."
