Dennis Barnicoat has been found safe and well
An 82-year-old man with severe dementia has been found safe and well after he went missing from Perranwell Station.
Police put out an appeal for help to find Dennis Barnicoat at around 8pm yesterday, after he was last seen at 3.30pm that day.
At the time Mr Barnicoat was described by police as as having "severe dementia and little mental capacity."
He went missing while still wearing his slippers.
Members of the public were asked to report any sightings of Mr Barnicoat immediately by calling 999.
Happily police put out an update this morning to say Mr Barnicoat had been found "safe and well."
An officer added: "The police would like to thank the public for their help in this matter."
