Falmouth Coastguard's cliff rescue team has been called today to another incident of a dog over cliff, this time at Pendennis Point.
The team was called at around 12.15pm to reports a dog had gone over between Middle Point and Crab Quay, and arrived on the scene to be directed to where the animal could be found.
A spokesperson said: "While some team members were gearing up for a technical rope rescue, two team members were able to access the beach below the dog, it climbed back down the cliff and was recovered by our team members.
"Seemingly none the worse for wear, apart from being a little muddy, the spaniel was reunited to a very grateful owner."
