A late night trip out on a tractor went horribly wrong when it overturned in Penryn, trapping its driver underneath.
Two crews of firefighters from Falmouth and a third from Tolvaddon were called to Penryn at 12.50am today.
A man was stuck within the multi-tonne tractor and had to be rescued by the crews in a delicate operation.
They used air bags, a winch and intricate tools to get the man out.
He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
