The statutory body responsible for managing Falmouth Harbour will hold its annual public meeting on Tuesday, September 20, at 7pm.

Falmouth Harbour Commissioners (FHC) will welcome the public to the meeting at the Learning Centre at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth, where it will also be presenting its 2015 annual report.

All FHC board members will be in attendance at the event and guests will have the opportunity to hear an update on FHC’s accounts and the latest activities in and around the harbour, including the dredging scheme.

The event will be led by chairman of the board, Dave Ellis, and will also include a presentation from chief executive and harbour master Captain Mark Sansom. This will be followed by an opportunity for the public and media to ask questions.

Dave Ellis said: “The annual public meeting always presents a great opportunity for the commissioners and the local community to come together. Alongside the formalities of presenting the annual report this meeting gives the public the opportunity to put questions to the board around the commissioners’ current work, past year and future. As always, we very much look forward to welcoming those who can attend.”

There will be a welcome and refreshments from 7pm, the presentations will start at 7.30pm, and full copies of the annual report will be available to download from falmouthport.co.uk after the meeting.
