Penryn's massive street party and music event Kemeneth was considered such a success that the organisers are trying to turn it into an annual event.
The people behind Kemeneth need local support to help make it happen next year, and are asking everyone who enjoyed the festival to fill out a survey to help with future funding.
Writing on Facebook, they said: "We very much hope you enjoyed Kemeneth, we certainly did. We were particularly excited about sharing the Ordinalia mystery play Origo Mundi, written in Penryn at Glasney College, with the townspeople and many visitors.
"Penryn has a very special and unique heritage and we very much hope that we can run this event as an annual celebration of all things Penryn."
They added that they required feedback to apply for increased funding and "ensure that more locals get paid to be involved in 2017."
