Budock Village Hall was filled with music on Saturday as it hosted the annual Feast Night concert which commemorates the arrival of St Budoc from Brittany in around 470.
This year the entertainment was provided by the Cadgwith Singers who performed a selection of Cornish folk songs before the evening finished with a rousing rendition of Trelawney.
During the half time break in proceedings pasties and a cup of tea were provided, and the opportunity was taken to present the Budock Community Award - which is given to a member of the public for work undertaken without thanks.
This years recipient was Ray Selley, a resident who spends many hours every year keeping the area tidy by picking up litter around the village.
The presentation of an engraved tankard was made to Mr Selley by local Cornwall Councillor John Bastin.
Phil Hart, chair of Budock Parish Council, said: "A very good evening was had even, with the awful weather and Strictly Come Dancing on the television to contend with."
