The guest of honour who will be switching on the Christmas lights in Mylor has been confirmed as Chris Lea, the popular retiring Headteacher of Mylor School.
Terry Chapman, chairman of Mylor lights' association, said: "We're delighted to be among the first to salute the tremendous contribution Mr Lea has made to this village by inviting him to switch on our lights in this his last year as head of the school."
The switch-on of Mylor's Christmas lights will take place on Monday, December 5 from 6pm.
