The search continues for missing dachsund Crouton, who disappeared more than a week ago whilst on a walk near Devoran.

Holly and Nicholas Prisk, the dogs owners, have been ceaseless in the campaign to find their pet, who disappeared after slipping her lead and running into bushes last Saturday afternoon.

They have appealed numerous times on social media and even camped out in the hopes she might return, and have received reports of several sightings, most recently on the road to Trelissick on Sunday evening.

The couple are planning to use sniffer dogs to track down their pet, and are asking anyone who sees Crouton to notify them immediately but not to approach her as this could scare her off.

Holly wrote on Facebook on Sunday: "She was seen at some point today by a few people but we haven't ascertained what time. It's raining so hard that the likelihood is that's she's hiding right now and we couldn't find her so have done our best by knocking on doors and searching where we could get to. "Tomorrow if anyone is in the Trelissick area, please quietly look out for her without calling her or beating around. we just need one more sighting reported quickly then we can gee sniffer dogs or lay food traps."
