A paedophile who went missing in Wiltshire five years ago but was arrested in Falmouth on Sunday has pleaded guilty to his crimes.

Andrew Simmonds, 57, went missing after being arrested for making and possessing indecent images of children and possession of extreme pornography.

He went missing from his home in the county on March 2, 2012, but was found last Sunday and was arrested on Church Street at around 2.30pm on Sunday.

He has since appeared at Swindon Crown Court and pleaded guilty to all charges. He remains in custody and will appear in court again on June 19 for sentencing.
