To coincide with the celebrations marking 30 years of the Cornwall Air Ambulance, Hawkins Motor Group has donated a car for the charity’s anniversary grand draw

The Laser Red Peugeot 108 hatchback was handed over at the Cornwall Air Ambulance headquarters at Newquay Airport. The colour of the car is similar to that of the helicopter’s which is very well known across the Cornish skies.

Hawkins, which has a dealership in Penryn, hope this will be a great incentive for people to buy tickets and continue to support the country’s first air ambulance service.

“Hawkins are extremely proud to support the Cornwall Air Ambulance and we very much value the patronage of our customers in Cornwall," said Hawkins Dealer principal Johnny Hawkins. "As a Cornish company we very much care about Cornwall and the Cornwall Air Ambulance provides an invaluable service for us all.”

James Oxley, communications and marketing manager at Cornwall Air Ambulance, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Hawkins Motor Group for their generosity in donating a new car as top prize in the Cornwall Air Ambulance 30th Anniversary Grand Draw.
