This video shows the moment a swan attacked a car on Silverdale Road, as its partner escorted their cygnets across the road.
The swan stopped to attack the Toyota Yaris Hybrid near Swanpool this morning, and concentrated on the wing mirror, paintwork and passenger door handle.
It is believed that swans attack cars because they can see their reflection, and feel threatened by the swan facing them.
