Friends of a well known Penryn man are appealing for help after he disappeared from his home on Tuesday afternoon.
Pete MacFadyen was described as having been acting anxious, confused and paranoid when he left his flat in the town without taking any belongings with him.
His close friend Sharon Lydiate told the Packet: "His phone was on until midday [on Tuesday] and location services says he was in Liskeard.
"He loves the train and this will be his preferred method to move around."
She added he was "very scared and not at all well."
It is understood that he has shaved his moustache off, and friends said he was talking of travelling to Scotland.
Anyone who has any information about Pete's whereabouts is asked to contact the police on 101.
